Arts Competition

The winners have been announced!

In the lead-up to Queensland Day, we invited young artists from across the state to unleash their creativity and share what Queensland means to them through the QLD Day Arts Competition.

With four age categories ranging from 4 to 18 years, young Queenslanders were invited to join the fun and express what Queensland means to them through art.

From stunning depictions of scenic railways to heartfelt portrayals of outdoor adventures, the entries captured the unique spirit and beauty of Queensland.

The winning entries will be proudly displayed at Brisbane Airport, providing these talented young artists with an extraordinary platform to share their unique visions of Queensland with audiences from around Australia and the world.

Cultural acknowledgement

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors—our First Nations peoples—give strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations towards creating a better Queensland.
