QLD Day Parties
No matter where you are in Queensland, there was a QLD Day party happening near you! From parties at your local pub, club or hotel, a backyard barbecue to a community cricket match, these local events provided an opportunity for community groups, sporting clubs, schools, and other organisations to join in the festivities, host their own QLD Day event, and showcase their Queensland pride.

Mega Round
We celebrated Queensland’s love for sport in spectacular style at the QLD Day Mega Round on Saturday 6 June. This thrilling event featured all-Queensland clashes in NRL, AFL, and Super Netball across Brisbane, Townsville, and the Gold Coast. Brisbane also hosted the iconic Seven Oaks Day at Eagle Farm Racecourse, combining world-class horse racing with vibrant entertainment.
Mini Maroons
The Mini Maroons Clinics were an exciting opportunity for kids aged 5–12 to engage in rugby league activities in the leadup to QLD Day 2026. Hosted by Queensland Rugby League, these clinics were designed for children of all abilities and provide a fun, interactive environment to develop footy skills, participate in games, and meet special guests.

parkrun
Whether you were walking, running, volunteering or cheering, there was a free parkrun happening near you on QLD Day! It was a chance to connect with your community and be part of a vibrant, statewide celebration.
Film Festival
This QLD Day, we celebrated the stories, scenery, and spirit of our state on the big screen. The QLD Day Film Festival showcased iconic films made right here, featuring the breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture that make Queensland unforgettable.
